I just launched the Kickstarter fund raising campaign to complete the Teague documentary . Here is a short video describing the story and a preview of some the clips. This feature length documentary will tell the story of his life, his rise to prominence, his turbulent relationship with his rebellious son, and the stories behind some of his greatest designs.  The inspiring story is told through hand-drawn illustrations, photographs, product designs, interviews, narrative, animation and film. Only $3500 left to go! And 29 days to raise it. What does my contribution go towards? Everything to complete the movie and get it out to the audience. Such as voice overs, music, printing, DVDs, and film festivals. Production, I’m happy to say, is finished. And I just completed the rough cut. Here's the final edit of Form Function... Form Function , by Jason Morris and Western Industrial Design students.  This purely visual short film shows an industrial design creative process that starts with abstract sculpture and ends with a   functional object .  Music by Moby. Creative solutions are rarely found by using conventional problem solving methods.  Students must be encouraged to try alternative processes for attacking a problem.  Professional industrial design projects begin with a design brief, but because of preconceived notions the brief itself inhibits the designer’s creativity.  This creative process removes hindrances to creativity by restating the design problem in abstract, non-objective language.  This process begins with abstract form creation without knowledge of the design’s purpose. The form creation is done with guidelines made by the instructor, who creates the rules to correspond with the design’s objectives.  ...

Somehow, my documentary, Hoima Bicycle,  won Best Documentary Short at the Northwest Projections Film Festival 2009.  It was up against three other very interesting and quite different docs.  Sonic Healing, Hope Art, and The Best Medicine.
